Students enjoyed a day at the Ashburton Museum, learning about life for Maori before the settlers came. Also what life was like for the early settlers, what things they brought to NZ and the changes in the way land was used. It was great to see and hold old stone tools and have a go at making butter and grinding grain as well.

it was fun I loved the all the things about old Maori life I loved it ps thank you ms Wills for taking us to the museum.

I find the hill so hard going down,hayley said it was easy.It was fun and a cool view.

It was hard drilling the hole but in the end i got used to it. The hunt was great i found many things.
