Students enjoyed a day at the Ashburton Museum, learning about life for Maori before the settlers came. Also what life was like for the early settlers, what things they brought to NZ and the changes in the way land was used. It was great to see and hold old stone tools and have a go at making butter and grinding grain as well.

It was hard drilling the hole but in the end i got used to it. The hunt was great i found many things. P.s thank-you miss wills for taking us to the museum it was fantastic, also a big thank-you to the lady who helped us learning about early Maori life. :)
